The Battle of Prestonpans

The Battle of Prestonpans is Bonnie Prince Charlie’s most famous victory. The mural depicts the thorntree under which Colonel Gardiner was mortally wounded, Sir John Cope’s flight from the battlefield and a portrait of Bonnie Prince Charlie.

Under Andrew Crummy’s leadership, 15 artists painted the mural in just one day.
