The Labour Club

Prestonpans’ Labour Club was once the drill hall. It was from here that many young Prestonpans men headed off to war in 1914 and 1939. Between the wars, it was used as a dance hall. Now, it’s a gathering space for local members of the Labour Party and their guests.

The mural was created by Michael Jessing in 2012. It took him 40 days to paint and required planning permission since it is in a Conservation Area.
