Redburn Dairy and Cow
Redburn Dairy once stood at the corner of Redburn Road and the High Street, where the mural dedicated to it now stands. It depicts Tom McKinlay, who worked there as a young man, as well as his pony and cart.
Redburn Dairy also kept hens and pigs. Some of Prestonpans’ older residents remember taking household scraps to the Dairy and receiving sweets as a reward.
Just on the other side of the building is a mural of one of McKinlay’s cows.
