The Bath House Murals
Along the side of the Bath House of Prestongrange Heritage Centre, are murals depicting the history of mining and its associated industries, including mining, salt production, brickwork, pottery kilns and Morison’s Haven.
Tom Ewing and a team of local artists created the 22 window murals for the 6th Global Murals Conference in 2006. Tom Ewing’s father worked in the mines, and his hands are featured in one of the windows.
